The Hard Hat Courage  Implementation Toolkit was developed in collaboration with construction industry leaders, safety professionals, and subject matter experts. It provides a structured, construction-specific framework to help workplaces build and sustain suicide prevention programs — integrating mind safety into the safety systems already in place.

This toolkit is organized into five sections: Leadership, Policy & Culture; Training; Help-Seeking & Resources; and Communications & Messaging — each containing strategic guidance, implementation actions, and practical tools. It is designed to be reviewed regularly and to grow with the organization over time.

Mental health is an important part of jobsite safety. By sharing clear, visible messaging, you can help ensure workers know that support is available.
